No. The box does the facilitating. One person simply takes the Narrator role and reads what comes next, a bit like passing around the rules of a board game, while participating fully alongside everyone else. The Script guides the timing, activity cards hold the prompts, and expert voice notes step in when needed. Nobody has to prepare, manage the room, or play facilitator.

Between three and sixteen. A team of 3 – 8 people is covered by the Standard box. Larger teams of 9 – 16 need the XL box, which holds extra activity cards, extra reflection cards and an XL Reference Sheet, since bigger groups need a little more time and split into smaller groups at certain moments.

We'd rather not print and sell you cards you'll never use. A team of five shouldn't pay for or carry materials for sixteen. The Standard box stays compact for teams of 3 – 8, and the XL box gives larger teams everything they need without generating waste for everyone else.

It is built to fit your calendar. The most flexible format is 3 × 90 minutes, easy to schedule across a busy quarter, and it gives your team time to reflect between Acts. Prefer it in one go? Run it as a single workshop: ~4 hours for a team of 3 – 8, ~5 hours for a team of 9 – 16.

No, open the box and bring pens. Everything else is inside.

The physical box, all the cards, and the script are in English. Because teams talk amongst themselves, they naturally switch to whatever language they usually speak during the exercises. A box belongs to one team and lasts for years. The Script, trigger cards and game components are built to be reused indefinitely. Only the consumable parts a team writes on run out. When it's time for a follow-up session, the team leader can order a Refill Pack directly on our refill page, using the code printed inside the box.

You can, and for quick check-ins, that often works fine. But building a session from scratch usually means someone spends hours pulling together exercises, only to end up running the room instead of joining in. We spent over a decade refining these formats so you don't have to. You get a battle-tested structure out of the box, allowing everyone, including you, to participate as equals.

Yes. A retrospective usually looks at what went well and what didn't. Curated goes wider and deeper: the team sets aside real time, everyone takes part, and the design carries the conversation somewhere a normal meeting rarely reaches. It is made to do something together, on purpose, not to tick a box.

No. Curated is strictly an in-person, screen-free experience on purpose. Deep, honest alignment happens best when everyone is around the same table. When your team actually gets together, this helps you make the most of that physical time.

You'll have safety nets at every step: In the box: "In case of…" cards handle tricky moments or side-tracks, and each Act includes its own Q&A guide. Online & Audio: Every workshop comes with a dedicated online FAQ page and quick audio voice notes to guide key moments. 1-on-1 Prep: Every box includes a free 30-minute preparation call with Robert or Margriet. Most importantly, the box is designed to be flexible. If a conversation takes an unexpected turn, the structure gives your team the safety net to navigate it, figure it out together, and make the session your own.

Season Recap works when a team is willing to talk. It is not the right tool during unresolved conflict, an active reorganisation, or anything that needs a mediator or HR. Those conversations need someone in the room who can respond to what happens, and a box cannot do that. If you are not sure whether this is the right moment, book a preparation call and we will tell you honestly.

Yes, but not in one online order. Our online checkout handles one box size at a time, so a mixed order goes on an invoice instead. Use the bulk orders page: set how many of each size you need, see the total, and fill in your details. You get one invoice for the whole order, at the same prices, payable within 30 days. The boxes ship within 7 working days.

Yes. We offer volume pricing for multi-team orders, department rollouts, or company-wide initiatives, and the discount is based on the total number of boxes, whichever sizes you pick. One exception during the launch period: until 1 December 2026 every box is €295 Standard and €345 XL, however many you order. That is lower than any volume discount, so it is what you pay. Volume discounts come back on 1 December 2026. You can see it all work on the bulk orders page.

Yes, absolutely. We will process your order and issue the invoice right away so you can account for it this quarter, then hold shipment until the date that works for your team. Just send us an email at hello@curatedworkshops.com with your order confirmation.

We ship worldwide from the Netherlands, including Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Within the Netherlands shipping is included in the price. Outside the Netherlands we add €9.95 per order. For bulk orders shipping is worked out on the invoice, because a pallet of boxes is not a parcel.

When a box is in stock we dispatch it within 7 working days. Delivery within the Netherlands then usually takes 1 – 3 working days, and international delivery times depend on your destination. You get a track and trace as soon as your order leaves us.

Yes. You have 14 days from the day your order arrives to let us know you want to return it. The box has to come back complete and unused, with the seals intact, because everything inside is printed material for one team. Return shipping is at your own cost. Once the box is back with us in good order, you get your money back within 14 days. If something arrived damaged in transit, that is not a return. Email us with a photo and we replace it.

Email us at hello@curatedworkshops.com with a photo and we sort it out. We answer email within 2 working days. Damage in transit is on us, not on you, and you do not pay for the replacement or the shipping.

Tell us. We would rather hear what actually happened in the room than process a form, so start by emailing us and we will work out together what went wrong and what we can do about it.
